2007 Mississippi Mission Trip

Below are pictures of the Gateway UM Church, Gulf Port, Mississippi, who hosted our WV Volunteers in Mission work team for our stay.

Below are pictures of a United Methodist Church that was damaged by the Hurricane.  The only part of the church that survived was their Sunday school wing, which part was converted to their sanctuary.  The current pastor of this church is from the WV UMC Conference.

Below are pictures of the work team our church member was a part of.  This team was responsible for finishing drywall at multiple site locations.

The work team's next work site involved installing fascia to the back portion of the home.

Below is an area that still houses several FEMA trailers.  These are still being used by those displaced by Hurricane Katrina.
