Easter Letter, 2018

                                                                                                          March 27, 2018

Greetings Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
He Is Risen, He is Risen Indeed!!  On Easter morning, churches all around the world share these words as we gather to worship; and why not, our faith hinges on the fact that the tomb was empty, for Jesus lives.  Death could not keep its prey, he tore the bars away as Robert Lowry so beautifully penned it.  Through the actions of love from the cross to the empty tomb, not only was it a victory for Jesus, it was a victory for those who believe on him, for we have been freed as well.

Chris Tomlin sings about a Grace that is so amazing, he says, “My chains are gone, I’ve been set free, my God my Saviour has ransomed me and like a flood his mercy rains unending love, Amazing Grace.”  Friends, the real excitement of Easter is that God sent his Son to die for the sins of all the world and that is amazing grace.  Through believing in Jesus Christ we can truly be set free.

The Trinity Charge is an awesome place to minister.  Undoubtedly, we have our quirks but it is a wonderful place to be.  While I am grateful and blessed to serve as the pastor here, I want us to be reminded once again that we are called to share the “Unending Love” that God has shared with us.  We are always asking what could we do to help our church and ourselves to love others.

Throughout this Easter Season, let us truly search our hearts and look at the examples of love that out Risen Saviour has shared with us and strive to become a people who share the “Unending Love” of Christ our Saviour.
