Youth Activities

                  "Crim's Kids"

Crim is blessed with a small but mighty group of
children who meet regularly for "Children's Choir"
practice and quarterly for a "Children's Gathering"
activity.  We average between eight and fourteen kids
ranging in age from two to eleven.

Crim's Kids' Choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 5:30
in the church's choir room for a half hour practice
where they learn traditional children's church songs
as well as more contemporary music.

The children will be preparing to present the nativity
story at our 2007 Christmas Eve service.  Their acting
out of the story has become somewhat of a tradition at
Crim Memorial and people look forward to watching them
as much as the kids enjoy performing for them.  The
kids will also be performing the song, "The Friendly
Beasts" for the Christmas Eve Service.

The kids meet 4-6 times of the year for activities and
fellowship.  Activities in the past have included
activities revolving around holidays--Easter Egg Hunt,
Pumpkin Carving and Pumpkin Hunt, Thanksgiving Party,
Christmas Caroling, making Valentines and Shamrocks
for members of the church and shut-ins, as well as
fall gatherings and a campfire and smore party for the
Fourth of July.  Our activities revolve around a
Christian message and usually include a story, prayer,
craft, game and snack.

We would welcome any child, fifth grade and lower, to
come be a part of our little group.  For more
information, please contact the church office at 457-1123.
